King Salman Initiative Lunches for building 200houses, schools in AL-Manaqil
Medani, Nov 27 (SUNA) - The Acting Wali (governor) of Al- Gezira State Ismail Awadalla Al-Aqib accompanied by Humanitarian Aid Commissioner Najm Eddin Musa reviewed today the progress of work on the construction of 157 houses for the rains and floods affected persons in Al-Manaqil locality.
The Wali laid down the foundation stone for two intermediate schools, praising the popular efforts and the King Salman Center initiative to construct 200 houses and schools in the locality.
The Wali affirmed his government's commitment to facilitate and support all initiatives aimed at reconstructing the affected areas in the state.
Head of the People's Committee for Supporting Floods and Rains affected persons; Sheikh Abdel Moneim Abu Darira noticed that the people’s committee has begun building 157 houses with the support of Al- Al-Manaqil generous.
The Humanitarian Aid commissioner pointed out the visit to the area came for the inspection of the progress of rehabilitation process targeted the affected areas in Al-Manaqil and the launch of King Salman Center initiative.
Furthermore the commissioner expressed his thanks and appreciation to all those who contributed to the support of affected people.
