Agricultural Bank announces financing policy for winter season

(SUNA)- The Agricultural Bank of Sudan has announced its financing policy for the new winter season that targets cultivation of 800,000 feddans with various crops in all parts of Sudan.

The bank’s funding covers various crops of the winter season, namely wheat, sunflower seeds, beans, potatos, and onion agains a total value of SDG136 billion.

The Agricultural Bank of Sudan affirmed that its financing policy is fully consistent with the plan of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and the financing policy guidelines of the Central Bank and the Agricultural Bank’s plan, which aims to provide the necessary funding in terms of sufficiency and timing, in addition to focusing on financing the wheat crop as a strategic crop and working on financing production technologies that contribute to raising production and productivity.
