Governor of West Darfur Issues Decision Reducing Curfew Hours
Khartoum, Jan. 20 (SUNA) – The Wali (governor) of West Darfur State, Mohamed Abdalla Al-Doma, has issued a decision reducing the hours of the total curfew throughout the state as of todayو (Wednesday) January 20, to be from 06:00 p.m. until 07:00 a.m. in the next day.
The decision excluded the movement of the workers in the humanitarian aid organizations, and the teams and cadres working in the medical and health, water, electricity and media fields during the hours of the curfew.
The Wali (governor) said that calm has returned to the state after the wide spread of the military reinforcements coming from the states of Central and South Darfur States after the increase of incidents since last Saturday morning.
Meanwhile, the commander of the Rapid Support Forces in Genaina sector said in a statement to SUNA that they will continue to operate with the other support forces to impose the prestige of the state and the rule of law.
