Civil aviation bans arrivals from Britain, the Netherlands and South Africa
Khartoum, Dec.21 (SUNA) - The Civil Aviation Authority issued today an international aviation bulletin that its airports do not receive passengers from (3) countries, namely Britain, the Netherlands and South Africa.
The official spokesman for the authority,. Abdel Hafiz Abdel Rahim stated in a statement to SUNA that the decision will take effect from 2 a.m. on tomorrow, Tuesday, , until 9 a.m. GMT on the fifth of January 2021.
The Civil Aviation Authority notified all carrier companies operating in Sudan to implement the decision, and to prevent the reception of all arrivals from these countries, regardless of their nationalities, whether through direct or indirect flights.
It should be noted that the decision came after the emergence of new strains of COVID-19 in those countries.
