Gadarif State Governor launches “Selatee” program

Gadarif, Nov. 29 (SUNA) – Governor of Gadarif State Dr. Suliman Ali launched here today the first phase of Selatee (my commodity) program that involves provision of basic consumer goods to the citizens at affordable prices.

The program, which is implemented as a partnership between the federal ministries of finance and economic planning and industry and trade besides the states and the Sudanese company for consumer goods, was launched at the cost of 30 million Sudanese pounds.

The project targets 5700 beneficiaries who are members of some 26 cooperatives that are formed recently.

The Governor affirmed that the project aims at reducing the cost of living for the citizens by providing basic consumer goods to them at affordable prices.
